2. What data we process
This is an informational website. We keep data collection to a minimum.
a. Contact by email
If you contact us by email, we process your email address and the content of your message solely to respond to your request. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and, where relevant, pre-contractual steps (Art. 6(1)(b)).
b. Server and access logs
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Our host may automatically record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, referring page and access times, in order to deliver the site and ensure its security. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
c. Web fonts
The typefaces used on this website are hosted directly on our own servers (self-hosted). No font files are loaded from third-party services such as Google Fonts, and therefore no data — including your IP address — is transmitted to such providers for this purpose.
We do not use advertising, tracking or profiling technologies, and we do not sell your data.
3. Recipients of your data
Your data may be processed by our technical service providers acting as processors, in particular our hosting provider GitHub, Inc. (GitHub Pages). We do not share your data with any other third party except where required by law.
4. International transfers
Our hosting provider (GitHub, Inc.) is established in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, such transfers are covered by appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Data retention
Email correspondence is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and, where applicable, to meet our legal obligations. Technical logs are retained by our host for a limited period.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data; request rectification or erasure; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@coding-capital.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Latvia, this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija) — www.dvi.gov.lv.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
